The special exhibition ‘Life in Braunau 2.0: Old Braunau in New Colours’ presents colourised historical photographs from Braunau am Inn. The exhibition offers fascinating insights into the past: on display are portraits of the town’s residents, striking cityscapes and authentic snapshots of everyday life from past generations. Thanks to the skilful retrospective colourisation, the historical photographs appear in a new light and build an exciting bridge between the past and the present. The permanent exhibition area dedicated to the August Kreutz photography studio on the ground floor complements the special exhibition. The original, preserved equipment demonstrates how photography used to work.
