In the exhibition, works from different creative phases of studio ASYNCHROME are brought into dialogue with one another. Analogue drawings, installations and visual worlds come together in new contexts. Information is condensed, detached from its original contexts and transferred into new ones. The deliberate framing of the image – much like in photography – becomes a guiding principle: it determines what becomes visible and what remains hidden from view. ECHO navigates the space between resonance and reflection, whilst simultaneously pointing to a present in which perception is no longer determined solely by human factors, but arises from the interplay of images, technologies and material structures.
