In her works, the Estonian-born artist continually develops ideas, forms, anecdotes and personal stories. She creates sculptures, installations and performances in which the animal kingdom merges with humanity, nature with the artificial, beauty with ugliness, lightness with heaviness, and life with death. For the exhibition at the Francisco Carolinum, curated by Maria Venzl, she is collaborating with the artist Michael Kleine. Together, they are developing an installation featuring artefacts from the museum’s collections, which they are augmenting with ceramic objects and placing within new narrative contexts. The two artists place particular emphasis on the architectural conditions of the space, thereby making the exhibition space itself an integral part of their work.
