What does courage mean in times of war, dictatorship and persecution? And is it the great heroic deeds, or rather the small, everyday decisions, that determine a person’s fate? The Austrian writer of Bulgarian origin, Dimitré Dinev, is presenting his monumental novel *Zeit der Mutigen* (Kein & Aber), which was awarded the Austrian Book Prize in 2025, on a reading tour through the Czech Republic. The tour begins on 3 November at Café Amadeus in Olomouc. The following day, the prize-winner will be a guest at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague, and the final reading will take place on 5 November at the Moravian Regional Library in Brno. The readings are being organised in cooperation with the Austrian Libraries in Olomouc and Brno.
