The Salzburg Festival takes place: from 01 to 30 August 2020 the festival presents itself, albeit in a shortened form. This year the festival is celebrating its centenary and can succeed with at least half of the planned programme. Around 30 days and six different venues are planned. All productions that cannot be shown in 2020 will be included in the programme in 2021. The exact programme will be presented next week, according to artistic director Markus Hinterhäuser.
