At the center of the work of the performance artist is the examination of strategies of the cultures of protest and activism. Pfalzer researches how we can find new approaches to political action.
She devotes herself to various global and historical phenomena of collective resistance. In her choreographies and performances, which often take place unannounced to the general public, masked bodies move across historically prominent places and monuments.
Together with Marshall Vincent, an American R&B pop singer, songwriter and composer, Pfalzer developed the performative piece Rub your face onto your shoulder last year, which constantly changes with each performance.
