The American multimedia and performance artist Cameron Jamie is considered a precise chronicler of the American way of life.
His works, from photographs, films, sculptures to performances and art books, deal with the psychological and physical transformations of the self and identity.
In his work, the boundaries between figuration and abstraction become blurred. Jamie creates his own cosmos of folklore and mythologies, nourished by his intensive examination of psychology and sociology as well as by analyzes of popular culture imagery and fictional self-images.
