Casa Testori presents an exhibition by the artist Robert Gschwantner. On display are works from five projects created in five European locations, all of which have been profoundly shaped by human intervention. These include Las Médulas in Spain, Gyali and Corinth in Greece, the Afsluitdijk in the Netherlands, and Magdeburg in Germany. For his artistic research, the artist travels to these ‘lost landscapes’ and collects materials on site, which he incorporates into transparent tubes. This results in wall works that preserve fragments of these places as contemporary relics. Gschwantner’s works combine documentary research with poetic transformation and impressively reveal the traces of human intervention in nature.
