Six female artists – Heidi Comploj, Birgit Konzett, May-Britt Nyberg, Dorothea Rosenstock, Anna Rubin and Renate Wittwer – present their perspectives on the tension between opposites. Through an interplay of perception, material, statics and suspension, works emerge that oscillate between lightness and heaviness, reality and illusion. On display are paintings, sculptures, figures and installations crafted from a variety of materials. The works range from figurative to abstract and transcendent forms, addressing social themes. The exhibition invites visitors to reconsider opposites and to allow new perspectives to emerge from them.
