The Kultursommer is an integral part of the hottest time of the year and once again offers a wide-ranging programme this year: From pop, rap, rock and hip-hop to soul, indie and classical concerts, from dance, theatre and performance art to cabaret, comedy and improv theatre – whether it’s contemporary circus, puppet theatre, experimental music or Austropop – there’s something for everyone at the Kultursommer. The programme for the Vienna Cultural Summer 2025 showcases the city’s arts and culture scene. The themes explored include home, feminism and the wider world. The Prater Picnic on the Kaiserwiese marks the festive start of the Vienna Cultural Summer. The Vienna Symphony Orchestra will provide a melodious opening against the backdrop of the Vienna Giant Big wheel. This summer, there will be nine stages in nine different neighbourhoods: Waldmüllerpark (10th district), Hyblerpark (11th district), Wilhelmsdorfer Park (12th district), Reithofferpark (15th district), Kongreßpark (16th district), Nordwestbahnhof (20th district), Fußballverein 1210 Wien (21st district), Schrödingerplatz (22nd district) and Stadtpark Atzgersdorf (23rd district)
