The gallery owner Ursula Krinzinger is one of the leading figures in the Austrian and international art scene; reason enough to dedicate the 2026 summer exhibition at the Palais Thurn und Taxis to her. For over 55 years, she has been supporting artists whose works are now exhibited worldwide. Her career began in Bregenz in 1971. From there, Ursula Krinzinger developed an approach to art characterised by openness, consistency and a belief in contemporary forms of expression. She championed artists’ work early on, long before it gained international recognition. The exhibition brings together works by Gottfried Bechtold, Jonathan Meese, Marina Abramović, Maria Lassnig, Monica Bonvicini, Eva Schlegel and others, highlighting the lasting impact of a gallery owner who has played a decisive role in shaping contemporary art over the decades.
