To mark the recent FIFA World Cup, the /SAC Gallery in Bucharest is presenting the exhibition ‘Offside. Plans, Goals and Points’, featuring the Austrian artists Michael Kliën and Willi Dorner. The curatorial approach uses team sport as a metaphor for collective interaction: from the coordination of movements to the creation of shared spaces and rhythms. The works encourage discussion about group dynamics and collective effort. The pitch, with its rules, becomes a choreography – a form of collaborative creation in which the result belongs not to the individual, but to the whole.
