The painter Peter Ledolter explores what is still possible within the confines of the medium – beyond narrative, beyond binding sets of rules. His paintings do not depict reality, but become reality the moment we begin to move within them. The meaning in Peter Ledolter’s paintings thus lies less in what they depict, and more in their appeal to our ability to make sense of things. As part of the opening of his exhibition at the kunsthaus muerz, the painter and restorer Peter Ledolter is also offering guided tours of his restoration work in the anton webern saal at the kunsthaus muerz.
