Perception is subjective; it knows no bounds. It recognises only one boundary: the one we draw ourselves. The Golden Sphere was created from the material used to temporarily gild a 27-metre-long gravel barge on Lake Constance for CARGO & INTERFACE. Together with a sextant aligned with the North Star and a 35-metre-high udder balloon, the ship formed a dynamic sculptural constellation spanning Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The Golden Sphere is now on display at the ZollART exhibition space in Koblach, right on the Austrian-Swiss border.
