In 2026, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, Austria’s largest curated design festival, will celebrate its 20th anniversary. With this exhibition at the Plakatforum, the MAK is paying tribute to the poster designs created by the designers responsible for the festival’s visual identity. Every autumn, these posters have played a decisive role in shaping the image and public perception of the initiative – founded in 2006 by Lilli Hollein, Tulga Beyerle and Thomas Geisler – which has since gained international renown.
