The Interreg V-A Slovakia–Austria cooperation programme focuses on smart and sustainable growth in the Austrian-Slovak border region. The exhibition by the Slovak artist Tereza Bird and the Austrian artist Dominik Linhard is being held as part of the Interreg VI-A SK-AT project ‘Cities.Gardens. Diversity – Bratislava and Vienna Blooming Together’. Its aim is to raise public awareness of biodiversity and to promote nature conservation, environmental awareness and the development of cross-border cooperation between the two cities. Tereza Bird is fascinated by the interplay between living beings and the connection between people, nature and community. Dominik Linhard’s photographs invite us to look at nature right on our doorstep with fresh eyes and to discover the diversity that is otherwise easily overlooked. The exhibition is being presented in collaboration with GLOBAL 2000 – Environmental Protection Organisation, Národný Trust n.o. and the City of Bratislava.
