The Austro-Hungarian-Ukrainian Armin Jambor Quartet is touring Spain for the first time from 4 to 9 November. Led by the Vienna-based saxophonist and composer Armin Jambor, the quartet brings together four highly regarded musicians from the Austrian jazz scene. The group combines the language of modern jazz with a clear melodic narrative, creating music that is both sophisticated and accessible. Alongside Armin Jambor, the line-up features Mátyás Bartha (piano), Miloš Čolović (double bass) and Oleg Markov (drums). Their music is characterised by lyrical melodies, sophisticated compositions, superb ensemble playing and energetic improvisations. In November, the quartet will release their debut album ‘Touch & Fade’ and present it at concerts in Barcelona, Valencia, Córdoba, Málaga and Granada.
