Warsaw Autumn (Warszawska Jesień) is the only festival of contemporary music in Poland with an international format and status; it has a long tradition and is also a true witness to music history. For many years, it was the only event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. Austria, too, does not miss this opportunity to show a strong presence. The rich programme includes a concert by Mia Zabelka, Klangforum Wien with a premiere of works by composer Bernhard Lang, ten meetings with composers and performers and five composition workshops. In addition, the Viennese artist Albert Mayr and the Polish percussionist Dominik Mokrzewski will set things in motion during a performance and exhibition.
